Day 30: Your winter wonderland
This is the leftover snow from Christmas.  We've had snow on Christmas two years in a row.  This hasn't happened in Amarillo since some time in the 1800s.  I think we must be good luck.

Watching Dora with Dora.  It doesn't get any better than that.

(Forgot Day 29: Sky view.  Good thing this month is almost over.)

For a long time Christmas was all about dolls, crayons, Barbies, and other various things purchased in the pink aisles of the toy store.  It has now shifted to Hot Wheels, dinosaurs, and superheroes.  It's a nice change.  In a couple of years it will shift back when Bailey's a bit older.

(Day 28: Words.  Another dumb one.)

Legos for Christmas is awesome.

(No Day 27: Nighttime.  I forgot.)

Day 26: Grateful
Technically this photo was taken yesterday, but I can still be grateful that Jeff was home on Christmas, even though it was supposed to be his year to work.  He was home to take various toys out of packaging, put Ryan's Big Wheel together, and set up the new Wii.  And of course it was nice to just have him around.

(Coming soon...I hope.)

Day 24: Favorite part of Christmas Eve
Here are the kids in their new Christmas pajamas, made by my mom.  Can you imagine making pjs for 24 kids every year?  She's amazing.  And I know that she puts thought into them, because she knows my girls love nightgowns, especially the silky ones.  Shelbi got a silky gown one year when she was about six and I'm pretty sure she wore it for three straight years, no matter that it didn't fit anymore.
Coming in at a close second as my favorite part of Christmas Eve is our tradition of ordering pizza for dinner.  As crazy as Christmas Eve can get, it sure is nice to not have to think about dinner.
