Egg dying day. I made each kid commit to how many eggs they were going to dye before I boiled them. I wasn't going to be stuck finishing a dozen eggs like last year.
I used to get all stressed out about what to do with the eggs after Easter. I hated having stacks of stinky, colored eggs in my fridge for weeks, and even more, I hated Creamed Eggs on Toast (remember that? Oh mercy). Then, one year, it occurred to me that I could just THROW THEM AWAY the day after Easter. So I did, and I never looked back. I don't know why it took me so long to figure that out.
