It was a hard thing this morning sending a self-conscious twelve year old to school with new braces. She was understandably not herself all day. But when I caught her tonight making a pizza for a snack, I felt better about things. That's the Shelbi I know.
Are you kidding me?! 6th graders here are obsessed with who has their braces! I heard one of Jayce's friends talking about how cute a girl in their class was and "she has braces now too" was the clencher.
