Remember when I said that most time this blog would be about pretty ordinary things. Well, today's one of those days. This is a picture of the girls doing their homework at the kitchen table. I must say that homework this year has been so much more manageable than last year. Last year I had to write down every book Syd read, how long it took and how many pages. This year she's just responsible for reading 20 minutes a day and they take her word for it.
On a completely different note - you know that if Bust was there, he'd move your YUM letters to spell MUY when you weren't looking.
ReplyDeleteI have never understood counting pages. One summer reading program we did asked for that. What good is that information when the books they "read" when they are 3 have so few words, and many pages with no words at all? I like the 20 minutes thing too. Homework shouldn't be work for the parents.
