This spot in my kitchen has become the official "put this stuff away" place. When I tell my kids to put the stuff on the counter away, they know that whatever random things they've left out downstairs have all been collected to this corner of the countertop.
Yep, every house has one. At my house, it was the bottom step of the staircase going upstairs.
