I made the kids walk to the far end of campus so we could see the Maeser building and statue of Karl G. Maeser, my fourth great-grandfather, founder of BYU. The kids thought it was pretty cool that they are also related to him.
Following lunch, we headed to the bookstore to get the kids BYU t-shirts. Unfortunately for us, they were out of all our kids' sizes. Fortunately for the kids, we came home with these:
The kids spent the afternoon scrimaging and making up cheers.
This evening we had a barbeque with Justin, Jami, Jenny, and families.
Bailey discovered that sand is not delicious...
And how to go down the slide all by herself...Erik caught a bad bounce on the trampoline and hit his head on the frame. Jeff said that if we'd been home, he would have put a staple in it. But since we're not, he'll have to heal without it.
Yay! You're back! Your UT pix are just the therapy I need today as I sit in my hotel room and feel sorry for myself. I seriously LOLed when I saw the one of Bailey at the bottom of the slide. My kids had to come see what I was laughing at. Thanks for brightening our morning!
