On our way to Utah, we stopped at this Denny's in Gallup, New Mexico, for dinner. We were all happy to have something to eat other than junk or fast food, even if it was just Denny's. The kids were starving and exhausted, so dinner was relatively quiet as the kids inhaled their food. (Well, except for Bailey.) As we were finishing up, an older couple came to our table and complimented my kids on how well-behaved they were. They insisted on paying for our dinner. It was very kind of them and a bright spot in an otherwise LONG day.
Looking at this picture made me realize just how brave you were to undertake this trip. I'm pretty sure I'd be too chicken to do it, even with only three kids!
