Day 19: Candy Cane

Sydney informed me that she keeps getting jipped when it's her day to choose an advent activity because it always happens to be a busy day and we don't have time to do anything fun. So I promised her that today we could do something more than "Eat a candy cane." She wanted to decorate sugar cookies.
They liked frosting and "sprinkling" the cookies, but no one actually likes eating sugar cookies at our house. I'll just end up throwing them all away in a couple of days. We'll just consider this a craft project.

Yep, like Easter eggs. I used to feel guilty about throwing them away (starving children in China--blah, blah, blah), but once I let myself call it an art project, it helped.
