I don't promise I'll post everyday. I don't promise the pictures will be fantastic. I don't promise this will always be super interesting. But I'll try.

In an effort to feel more like a part of our community, I suggested that we go to the downtown Amarillo holiday lights parade. We had never done this before so we didn't really know where we were going. Mostly we just followed the crowd. But we ended up next to a nice family that scooted over and made room for our kids up front. The float in the picture isn't a very good representation of the parade. There were a lot of little vehicles with one dinky set of lights. But some were cool like this one and there was plenty of candy thrown to the kids. So we're calling tonight a success. Maybe a new tradition has been born.

I love Christmas parades! Okay, I've only ever been to one, but it was awesome! The year we were in AZ, we went to the Christmas light parade, and my favorite was the high school marching bands all decked out in glow sticks. WAY cooler than those cheesy uniforms.
